OLD TIME JAM
Old time music is the good stuff played on porches for years and years. It is the root of bluegrass and you will be surprised to learn you already know some tunes from just living here in the south. Learn about old time music, bring your acoustic instruments and join in on some old time music jams happening throughout the festivities.

Max & Maggie and the Driving Wheels
Max and Maggie and the Driving Wheels are a traditional Old Time band that blends Appalachian ballads, blues, and a touch of bluegrass! Max Godfrey brings a wild fiddle style, a head full of verses, and a voice that’ll bring a bear out of hibernation. Maggie Hall brings a driving, percussive guitar style, sweet harmonies, and powerful lead vocals that are as fine as frog hair. David Stephens brings an earth-shaking banjo style, tight harmonies, and lead vocals that will knock your socks off! Tre Watts' bass and his lead vocals are a down-home blend of smoky-Mississippi blues and hollers of the Appalachia Mountains that will make even the wall-flowers kick up their heels! Together, they believe in the power of old music and want to share it with everyone around them.
